Canmore Winter Carnival

Canmore winters are fun and full of magic. The Town of Canmore loves to celebrate just how much its unique little mountain community has to offer. Every February, the community comes together to celebrate the best parts of its winter lifestyle during the Canmore Winter Carnival. This multi-day festival is a favorite for locals and visitors alike.

The 2023 Canmore Winter Carnival event is returning to in-person activities. The Stan Rogers Memorial Stage will play host to a variety of festival favorites such as its annual Ice Carving Challenge, Log Sawing, the Sugar Shack and the Kid & Mutt Races. But make time for some of the new programing like the All-Ages Party in the Park and the Carnival Cabaret! Whether young or old, the Winter Carnival is guaranteed to get you outside where you can enjoy Canmore’s beautiful winter days and nights.
