Experience a Guided Walk of Grotto Canyon & Jura Creek

On January 15, 2023, you can experience a guided ice walk of Grotto Canyon and Jura Creek. Spend the full day or half day with Lucinda as you complete these short beginner hikes. Traction gear provided.
This is a easy beginner guided hike/ snowshoe with Minimal elevation gain.
This beginner hike is a 4km round trip, with minimal elevation gain. Grotto Canyon is a magical place in the winter time! This is a MUST see in the winter. Bubbly ice formation and frozen falls are just a few of the interesting things you will see. We follow the frozen creek the whole way and traction aids are a must!! This area has a rich history that your guide will be sharing with you. We will be taking this hike slow and steady, this is an “enjoy the journey” hike with lots of time for photos and connection with the group. We will not be going into avalanche territory.
Your guide will supply you with traction aids!!
Expect there to be snow and COLD- Dress for the weather.
Refund policy: We don’t do refunds – within 2 weeks or exchanges for tickets. I have emergency and medical info on each hiker that is logged with a check in person . If there was any type of emergency all that info needs to be correct for each hike. Please DO NOT attend if you have covid 19 symptoms.
WINTER HIKE EXCEPTIONS- We will cancel if temperatures or wind chill go below -25 or the highways on the way to the hike are closed or are deemed unsafe for travel. (by AMA or RCMP)
