Jeff’s love for landscape and wildlife photography started back in 2006 during a road trip down to the Grand Canyon, Arizona. It instantly captivated him to photograph the natural rock formations, deep vibrant colours and this new way of using his camera. His continued passion for travelling and exploring these fresh and beautiful places sparked the desire to embark on this photographic journey.

Stonewaters

Conceived in 1999 by childhood school mates Tim Nokes and Mike Gordon, the pair founded stonewaters out of a shared passion for interior design and quality craftsmanship.

The two grew up in Banff, Alberta and by the mid 1980’s were running their own respective successful businesses. Gordon was operating Canwest flooring, a venture he had co-founded and Nokes was rocking it with Tim Nokes Design, a graphic arts and Branding company. Fast forward to 1999, the two founded Stonewaters in their first location. It successfully operated there until 2005. It was at that time when Mike was approached by Phil Marra of the legendary local grocery business Marra’s to take over the space which was (and still is) an iconic downtown location. Tim designed a timeless retrofit of the building that has won awards for Architectural Excellence in the redesign.
